What does it mean to be a Diversity Champion?
It doesn’t mean you have to know everything about diversity, it just means that you are committed to working towards a more inclusive and equitable society, that you want to show you support for these principles, and that you’re willing to learn new things from people with lived experience.
Are you a Diversity Champion?
In 2021, we asked organisations and businesses in Weston to show their support by displaying a Diversity Champion Badge on their website, their social media, and in their windows.
This year, we’ll be expanding the campaign across North Somerset. Please sign up to our newsletter below to find out more about plans in progress.

Black History Month 2021
How can I show my support?
If you have social media, download a Diversity Champion badge to display as your icon for Black History Month.
If you have a website, download a Diversity Champion Banner and add it to your site with a message of support.
Printed stickers are available for collection at The CHAT Room and at the Museum.
Large circle stickers are available for display in shop windows.
